A few months ago, an officemate of mine was talking about his new electric bike and so I tried to learn more about this new kind of vehicle by going online since he said that it was a very cheap way of transportation. The ebike, which it is usually called online, looks like your average bicycle but it can be very easy especially for elderly people because the twist to it is that it has a motor attached to it. This kind of bike is a part of a big group that is ideal for local transportation and they are collectively called as Light Electric Vehicles and the greatest advantage of this type of vehicle is that it costs much lesser and very easy to maintain as well. Since you would not need fuel to operate this type of vehicle because this is battery operated, you could also save on the operation cost and it is also a very good vehicle for the environment since you will not be emitting harmful gases. Another great advantage of the ebike is that one would not need to have a driver’s license since it is in the same classification as bicycles, making it a perfect alternative for those who do not have a license or those who have suspended licenses.   So that I will still look fresh upon arriving at my office, instead of having to walk to work, I have decided to purchase an ebike since I just live a few blocks from my office. I was very happy with my purchase and I have now been using my ebike for three months.
