I am done with shopping using a credit card, and I learned my lesson well, when I went over board and maxed out all three of my cards, and getting demand letters from bank asking for payment.   I will never put myself again in the same situation,that’s a vow I made to myself, I had to get a salary loan from the office just so I could pay them off, and I had to pay for it for two year, automatically deducted to my salary. For the past years,I have been doing really well without a credit card, but it did not really help with curbing my shopping sprees. The only difference this time is that I use cash, and when I do not have cash anymore I can no longer shop,I still shop a lot like there is no tomorrow or the world is about to end. So it is not unlikely that a few days after payday I am broke again, because as soon as I get my pay, I immediately check out the malls for new stuff, and always the scenario is I walk away with not just one but two shopping bags. Gladiator flats and sling bags are my latest obsessions,all made of leather, just last week I bought three gladiator flats and one very expensive sling bag. I am a step close to asking for help in controlling my impulse buying and shopping urges, because I have a really big feeling that I will get into trouble with this if I cannot control it. Good thing I was able to control myself and walked away,because last week there were people outside our office that were giving out pre approved credit card offers, and I got so tempted to get one. Controlling my shopping urges is by far the most nagging negative habit that I have been trying to shake off.
