Dream of Cloud
I have earned a degree in community development with a minor in urban planning back in college, and now I work as a consultant in several non government organizations in order to promote sustainable living in third world communities which the American government give aid to, and as someone who have dealt with a lot of development issues in my college years and also in the field, I have truly learned that in order to attain sustainable development, one must have sustainable living such that resources are maximized in such a way where nothing is put to waste and everything is used sustainably; as difficult and impossible as it may sound especially with the reality we are dealing with in terms of wastes and human consumption. I know for a fact that a lot of leaders still do not know the sad truth that if there was a perfect system in which most governments and leaders of our country could use in order to provide a world without hunger, corruption, poverty, inequality and environmental backlash, we would have already used it, but the truth is, all systems that have already been studied well have its own advantages and disadvantages and it will just be up to a certain leader or government on how they intend to use the system to take hold of their advantage, but as simple as I may have described this, it is quite a difficult thing to do especially that a lot of factors should be considered when making decisions that affect an entire community and even an entire nation. Originally my heart was with voluntary work and I was at it for three years, but I realized that if I lived off with just an allowance, I might not be able to survive and it will be very difficult for me if I start my own family, so I chose to lay low and decided the path of consultancy, but in my own little ways I try to promote the principles that I stand for as an American citizen and as a responsible individual concerned not just to the needs of one nations but to an entire globe.
