During weekends you say that it will be fine for you stay out. They say you have to be home early. You desire to see popular television shows. They tell you that you cannot. You say you have met some nice kids you would like to go out with. They say they would like to meet your friends first. Young ones have a feeling that since their parents decide for them, they are not free to choose anything that they wanted same as they are being blocked by a metal fence.   It seems that everything they want to say to you is followed by an inevitable No you cannot. Nor is any part of your life from the prying eyes of your parents. Most young ones find fault to their parents due to lack of respect being showed by their parents to them. Parents do not show trust, they will punish directly their children even without sin. Instead of being allowed to choose for themselves, they are hemmed in by rules. When your mother or father see you as if you are still a kid, you must come to realize that before you are really is. Maybe the minds of your parents always see you as a baby and it is hard for them to erase it and face the present you. They still retain information the immature error that you were doing and therefore want to guard yourself if you want such protection or not. The longing of the parents to guard you is so impressing one. Most of the time, aside from worrying on what food are they going to give their children, parents are more worried on how to discipline and teach their children. Their concern in you is far from casual. They are accountable before God for the way they are in place, and when something seems to make threats your well being, they are worried.
