Spirits of Truth
Youtube is one of the most viewed site in this century of internet browsing, it is where talents get discovered, scandals are uploaded for everyone’s consumption and all sorts of video that people can think of are in youtube. Youtube is also full of educational videos that are helpful to students and researchers, for me, I always go to youtube for reviews of certain gadgets and demonstrations of easy fixes when a gadget malfunctions. Once a video is uploaded it can never be downloaded or stored by anyone other than the owner of that video, that is what’s amazing about youtube, so the rights of the video stays to the owner. Now you can share the videos to one of your social network like Facebook and Twitter with just one button which is great, or you can use the good old technique of copying the link. Recently in the office, I have been doing a lot of presentations to clients and managers about the recently launched product we have, and I have made a couple of videos showcasing the product and have uploaded it in youtube. And I have incorporated youtube in powerpoint slides to enhance my presentation, and it turned out to be a success, because my direct boss liked the videos and the way that it was all in my powerpoint presentation. My boss used my powerpoint presentation on almost all client visits, it was such a big hit, I got the idea to insert youtube videos in my presentation online. All of our existing presentation were revised to include youtube in powerpoint presentations, and it should be the standard from now on.
